These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Dot.Emall and any connected Dot Ecosystem platform you sign in to through it. Dot.Emall is operated by BluePin Inc ("BluePin", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Dot.Emall, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You need an account to buy or sell on Dot.Emall. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account.

2. Ecosystem single sign-on

Your Dot Ecosystem account is also your identity on Dot.Emall. Signing in through a connected platform issues a short-lived, single-use token that confirms who you are, without you re-entering your password.

3. Buying and selling

Sellers. When you open a store and list a product, you're representing that you have the right to sell it and that its description is accurate. You're responsible for fulfilling orders placed against your listings.

Buyers. Placing an order is a commitment to pay for it according to the store's stated price and terms. You're responsible for reviewing a listing carefully before ordering.

Payment. When card payment is switched on, you pay for an order on Paystack's own payment page; Dot.Emall never sees or stores your card details. An order that is not paid within the stated time is cancelled automatically. Payment is collected by the platform; payouts to sellers, seller finance and settlement are not part of Dot.Emall today and are handled outside it (Dot.Billing, Dot.Finance).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• list items you don't have the right to sell, or misrepresent a listing;
• place orders you don't intend to honour;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to Dot.Emall, another user's account, or any connected platform; or
• use Dot.Emall for any unlawful purpose.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Dot.Emall available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Dot.Emall connects buyers and sellers; we are not a party to the sale itself, and we don't guarantee the condition, authenticity, or delivery of any listed product. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BluePin is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from a transaction between a buyer and seller, or from your use of Dot.Emall generally.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time, subject to fulfilling any active orders. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to Dot.Emall, the Dot Ecosystem, or other users.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to let you know before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
