This page explains the cookies Dot.Emall actually sets. There aren't many — Dot.Emall doesn't run advertising or analytics trackers, so every cookie below exists to make the platform work, not to profile you or serve you ads.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
dot-emall-session |
Keeps you signed in, remembers your session state and cart as you shop Dot.Emall. Strictly necessary. | Ends when your session expires or you sign out. |
XSRF-TOKEN |
A security token that protects forms and requests on Dot.Emall from being forged by another site. Strictly necessary. | Ends when your session expires or you sign out. |
remember_web_... |
Only set if you tick "Remember me" when signing in. Keeps you signed in on that browser after you close it. | Up to 5 years, or until you sign out or clear it. |
Dot.Emall does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or tracking pixels, or cross-site marketing cookies.
If you use single sign-on to move between Dot.Emall and another Dot Ecosystem platform, that platform may set its own cookies once you land on it — those are covered by that platform's own Cookie Policy, not this one.
Because Dot.Emall's cookies are strictly necessary, turning them off in your browser will likely break sign-in, your cart, and core functionality. Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings if you'd still like to manage them yourself.
We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies Dot.Emall sets change. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
Questions about this Cookie Policy can be sent to privacy@infodot.co.za. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
